UNIRSM
The University of Design of San Marino is a permanent experimental Laboratory, where place, community and poetics stimulate dynamic processes of shared and transversal research, education and project.
Our students and teachers come from near and far, in an exclusive community place of sharing and intellectual and cultural exchange to study or teach product, communication and interior design topics.
Our School promotes project and research themes of social and environmental relevance for the enhancement of material and immaterial heritage, according to values and ethical principles of equity and solidarity in respect of cultural and social diversity.
The School adopts an experiential approach to the project, of material experimentation in its workshops and laboratories. At the headquarters of the degree course are available to students laboratories of computer science, modeling, rapid prototyping, photography, video, ceramics and screen printing.
The small number of students and faculty allows a particular care in personal relationships and between students and faculty. The geographical context of San Marino and the architectural and landscape context of the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara contribute significantly to the overall quality of university life.
The degree course is characterized by an interdisciplinary group of teachers composed of university professors and professional designers, also known internationally, supported by young designers who experiment with the most advanced techniques and practices.
